GP practices ‘offered rewards’ for not referring patients to hospitals

Clinical commissioning groups offering ‘incentives’ to GPs to not send patients for consultations with specialists, scans and operations, investigation finds.

Comment: It just gets better doesn’t it? The conservatives seem to have corrupted every professional public role, putting these people in compromising positions, whether it’s doctors. barristers. civil servants.

People don’t generally go to their doctors demanding a referral or tests, and to intervene in that process could lead to loss of life; our cancer survival rates are already not what they should be as compared to other nations.

  1. Reblogged this on perfectlyfadeddelusions and commented:
I am fed up with this Tory government thinking we all do things we fucking don’t.

I take it this goes for mental health referrals too.

What gets me is these incentives they keep giving, and yet the country has no money apparently, so where the hell is this money coming from?

The Tories need to be thrown out of parliament immediately!
